days left on the attic rebate — up to $1,250, no energy audit — how it works

How a Job Actually Runs

Six steps, in order, with the parts most people are not told about left in.

1 · The call

Five minutes. Age of the house, what you can see at the hatch, whether there is a room that is always cold, and whether anything has ever been in the attic. If from that we think the attic stream will not pay you, we say so on the call.

2 · The attic check

Somebody goes up. Depth measured at the joist — away from the hatch and away from the eaves, because those two places always read wrong. Soffits checked for blockage, bathroom fans traced, hatch inspected, sheathing looked at for staining. Photographs throughout.

You get the depth, the tier, the rebate figure and the photographs whether or not you use us.

3 · The quote

One page. The work, the material, the target depth, the invoice total, the rebate tier, and the arithmetic of the fifty per cent cap applied to your number. If removal is needed it is priced separately so you can see what it is costing.

4 · The day

Machine outside, hose in through the hatch, containment at the opening. Air sealing first, baffles second, insulation third. Our own crew — we do not subcontract residential work. Most attics are one day; add a day for removal.

5 · The proof

Depth markers left standing in the attic. Photographs before, during and after. Material, coverage and bag count recorded. The installer is named on the file.

6 · The submission

We prepare and submit the rebate file and give you the reference. The programme pays you directly. If it queries anything, the photographs and the depth record are already in the file, which is the entire reason we take them.

What we do not do

We do not take deposits on attic work. We do not use commissioned salespeople. We do not subcontract residential jobs. And we do not quote a rebate figure as a discount on our invoice — the rebate is paid to you, by the programme, after the work.
