Attic · Walls · Garage ceiling
We insulate and air-seal houses across the GTA and Southern Ontario, and we are a participating contractor on the rebate that pays for the attic. Registrations for new contractors on that stream are closed — so the list of companies who can still put your file through is the list that was already on it.

The Home Renovation Savings program, Enbridge Gas and Save on Energy together, is scheduled to end on 30 November 2026. The attic stream pays up to $1,250 and needs no energy assessment. Every figure, with the source.
The programme website states that contractor registrations for the attic stream are currently closed. A company not already registered cannot get you this rebate, and cannot become able to before the deadline.
We will not tell you the clock is a marketing device. It is the published programme end date, and if it is extended again we will say so here the week it happens.
No form in front of it
The rebate tier is set by what is up there now, not by what we put in. You can see the depth from the hatch with a phone light — four inches looks like a blanket, sixteen looks like a snowdrift. Pick the closest and you get the tier and the dollar figure immediately.
Two ways through
Most companies show you one. They are different programmes with different rules, and which one suits you depends on whether you are doing the attic alone or the whole envelope.
Attic only · no assessment
One measure, one visit, no auditor in the house. This is the one closing on 30 November and the one whose contractor list is shut.
Whole envelope · assessment required
An energy advisor assesses the house before and after. More paperwork, more time, and considerably more money if you are doing walls and basement too.
Figures quoted from the Home Renovation Savings program pages, attic stream and assessment stream, checked 17 September 2026. The programme sets the amounts, not us. The full table is here.
Four places, one envelope
Blown cellulose or fibreglass to R–50, batts where the geometry calls for it, and the hatch, the top plates and every penetration sealed before anything goes down.
Attic insulation → 02Injection foam into closed cavities from outside or in, one hole per bay per storey, plugged and made good. No demolition, no drywall bill.
Wall insulation → 03The room over the garage is always the cold one. The joist bays under it are usually empty and open to outdoor air. We fill them without opening the ceiling.
Exposed floor → 04Raccoons, mice, roof leaks, frost, mould. Contained removal, vacuumed to the truck, treated, repaired and re-insulated — in that order.
Removal & remediation →The rule nobody mentions
Your tier is a ceiling, not a cheque. If the job costs less than twice the tier, you get half the job instead. We would rather you heard that from us on a Tuesday than from the programme after the work is done.
Why the attic first
Warm air rises, finds the gaps at the top of the house, and takes your heating with it. In a house built before 1990 the ceiling and the air leaks around it beat every other loss combined — which is exactly why the programme made the attic the one measure you can claim on its own.

These are real customers with real names, and they are the two we can quote in full. We have not written any others and we are not going to.
We recently had the misfortune of having raccoons enter our attic from one of the air vents on the roof. After we got them out we realized they made a complete mess of our insulation. After interviewing a few insulation companies, we had a good feeling about Top Reno Solutions. They also handled the energy inspection so we could get a government rebate. It was a 2 day job and the workers were very professional, prompt, polite, clean and detailed in their work and respectful of our living space.
Awesome service and very transparent in terms of process. Amir showed me the before and after of my attic as well as explaining what had been done. Sent me lots of pictures as well showing the thickness of the insulation as well.
Photographs of your attic before and after, with the depth marked, come as standard. They are also what the programme wants to see, so the file and the reassurance are the same piece of work.
Multi-residential, warehouse and institutional insulation, managed from procurement to close-out, with the documentation an energy compliance file actually needs.
Everything you would normally email us for is on one public page: the legal entity and address, the programme streams we are registered on, insurance and WSIB status, how installers are trained and checked, what we photograph on every job, and the complaint and warranty process with the timelines we hold ourselves to.
Book an attic check
You get the depth, the tier, the dollar figure and the photographs — whether or not you go ahead with us. If your attic is already over R–35 we will tell you the stream will not pay, and we will tell you on the phone rather than after the visit.
