What the work is

Blowing insulation, air sealing, fitting baffles, removal and clean-out. Attics in July and attics in January. It is physical, it is dusty, and the people who are good at it are the ones who care whether the depth is even at the eaves when nobody is going to look.

What we are looking for

• Reliable attendance. It is the whole job in this trade.
• A driver's licence, and a clean one if you want to run a truck.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces, and willing to be fit-tested for respiratory protection.
• Enough English to explain to a homeowner what you are doing in their house.
• Experience is welcome and is not required. We train.

What you get

• Employment, not a subcontract. We do not run residential work through contractor invoices.
• Year-round work. The season shifts but it does not stop.
• Working at heights training and respiratory fit-testing paid for.
• A route into lead hand and then into estimating, for the people who want it.
