What the company is

Top Reno Solutions insulates and air-seals houses, and removes and replaces insulation that has failed. Attic, walls, exposed floors, ventilation, and the remediation work that comes with animals and water. We are based at 17665 Leslie Street in Newmarket and we work across the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario.

How we work, and why it is written down

• Our own crews. Residential installation is done by our employees, not subcontracted. That is the only way the quality record on the file means anything.
• No commissioned salespeople. The person who goes up into your attic is not paid more for selling you a removal you do not need.
• No deposits on attic work. You pay when the work is done.
• Everything photographed. Before, during, after, with the depth visible. It serves the rebate file and it serves you, and it is the same work either way.

The rebate part of the business

A large share of what we do is claimed under the Home Renovation Savings programme, so the paperwork is part of the trade rather than an add-on. We prepare and submit the file; the programme pays the homeowner directly. We are a participating contractor on the attic stream, and the programme has closed registrations for new contractors on that stream — which is a real advantage for us and a real constraint for homeowners choosing who to call.

What we are not

We are not an energy advisor firm, we are not licensed for wildlife removal, we are not roofers, and we do not issue air-quality clearances. When one of those is what a job needs, we say so and you book it. A contractor who claims every trade is claiming one of them falsely.
